Shopify orders missing in Click & Drop: how to find exactly which

Updated 2026-10-10 · by Hieu Tran, written with AI agents and checked against the sources below

When the Click & Drop sync stops, the hard part isn't fixing it, it's knowing which orders never arrived. Compare a Shopify export with a Click & Drop export for the same dates and the gap is your list.

Free tool: Drop in both exports and get the missing orders

Runs in your browser. It skips cancelled, refunded and non-shipping orders and gives you a CSV of the missing ones.

Compare the two lists

  1. In Shopify admin, export orders for the date range (Orders → Export, CSV). The order number is in the Name column, like #1001.
  2. In Click & Drop, export orders for the same dates, including every status (new, despatched, archived).
  3. Normalise the order numbers: drop the # and any prefix so #1001 and 1001 match.
  4. Shopify exports one row per line item: keep one row per order.
  5. Remove cancelled and refunded orders and anything without a shipping address.
  6. Every Shopify order left that isn't in the Click & Drop list is missing.
